Nds was a leader in data encryption focusing on cable and satellite TV. Its technology was the heart of almost every set top box in the world. As part of their wish to allow users to enjoy the content on the move, the new picnic chip-based key was designed. In collaboration with ELPD we designed the product, embracing the flip-to open car key experience to it. CMF (color material and finish) of mirror polish black and chrome and a metal mass to enhance the perceived value, were applied too.
